Transaction year 2023

Crowe BPG continued to operate successfully in the transaction market in 2023. Under the leadership of Andreas Hoffmann, the company was involved in more than 35 transaction projects. Mr. Hoffmann's team was mainly active on the buyer side for financial investors (including financial and tax due diligence, structuring advice, commercial and tax negotiations of purchase agreements).

Transactions took place in a wide range of sectors, with projects in the fitness industry (add-on acquisitions of Fivestar Fitness and FLEXX Fitness by the BestFit Group), security technology (acquisition of SHG Pur-Profile GmbH "Knuffi" by Waldegg Equity), cyber security (acquisition of HvS-Consulting AG by NORD Holding) and ESG consulting (merger of Silvester Group and sustainabill with VERSO (NORD Holding)) being particularly noteworthy this year.

For Crowe BPG, 2023 was also strongly characterized by several projects on the seller side (financial and tax fact books). The larger corporate groups in focus are active in the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and IT services sectors.

Crowe BPG also expects a strong transaction year in 2024.
