Crowe advises Waldegg Equity on the investment in eba-consult GmbH

Crowe successfully advised Waldegg Equity Partners GmbH (“Waldegg Equity”) on its partnership with eba-consult GmbH (“eba-consult”). Waldegg Equity is an owner-managed investment company based in Munich, which invests in medium-sized companies on a long-term basis and supports them in their further development. The focus is on investments in healthy, successful companies in German-speaking countries.

For more than 15 years, eba-consult has been a reliable partner of Deutsche Bahn when it comes to the supervision of construction measures on railroad infrastructure, both new build and maintenance. The eba-consult team is made up of experienced specialists who have been successfully monitoring Deutsche Bahn projects in the fields of superstructure, control and safety technology, telecommunications and electrical engineering for many years.

The team from Crowe BPG (crowe-bpg.de), which was responsible for the financial due diligence, consisted of Andreas Hoffmann, WP and Partner (overall management), Christina Weger (Associate) and Philipp Jans (Associate). The tax due diligence was carried out by Crowe Kleeberg (crowe-kleeberg.de) from Munich. The tax team included Dr. Lars Lüdemann, StB and responsible partner, and Arzum Esterhammer, StB and manager.
