Electronic invoice processing

E-invoicing offers many advantages for companies in terms of invoice processing and invoicing. E-invoicing not only simplifies accounting tasks, it also saves time and improves your company's liquidity.

We differentiate between three areas of electronic invoice processing:

  1. Electronic creation of outgoing invoices
  2. Electronic processing of incoming invoices
  3. Electronic invoice verification and approval process

With the electronic creation of outgoing invoices, your own invoice documents are created digitally and sent to your customers. When the invoice is issued, the receivable is automatically posted to financial accounting. The process is fully digital and highly automated without any manual processing steps.

The aim of electronic processing of incoming invoices is to achieve the highest possible degree of automation. Invoices are received digitally or, if necessary, digitized on site by scanning. The invoice documents are read using character recognition and artificial intelligence so that invoice attributes are filled in automatically (e.g. date, invoice number, amount, creditor, etc.). The vendor posting is transferred to financial accounting as a posting proposal and linked to the document image. This means that incoming invoices can be displayed by the vendor postings at the touch of a button.

The electronic invoice verification and approval process precedes the electronic processing of incoming invoices. This involves determining the accuracy of an incoming invoice. In addition to the factual check and verification of the claim, a commercial check is also carried out. The verification steps are automated through a high degree of digitization. Existing purchasing and ordering process systems support invoice verification and approval.
