The oral tax advisor examination
In North Rhine-Westphalia, the results of the written part of the tax advisor examination, which determine admission to the oral examination, will soon be announced.
The oral tax advisor examination is therefore just around the corner for many candidates – a decisive milestone on the way to the professional examination.
We would like to wish all examinees every success, strong nerves and the necessary composure. The written examination is over, now it's time to present your knowledge in a structured, calm and confident manner.
Our tax advisor René Schultze has a few tips for the oral examination:
Practise presentations on various relevant topics
Look at minutes from previous years
Argue professionally and clearly, but don't be afraid of questions
Answer in a structured manner – a clear train of thought often counts for more than depth of detail
Establish practical relevance where appropriate
Stay calm: the exam is not a cross-examination, but a technical discussion
It is not perfection that counts, but a solid overall picture of technical knowledge, presentation and argumentation.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for all candidates and wish them every success for the final step on this challenging journey.
