Crowe Stories - Noah Bloemer
Who are you, and what are you studying?
My name is Noah Bloemer, I am 18 years old, and I am from beautiful Düsseldorf. I am currently enrolled in a dual degree program in business administration with a concentration in tax law at the University of Applied Sciences for Business (FHDW) in Mettmann.
Why did you choose a dual degree program, and why did you choose us?
I decided to pursue a dual degree program because I wanted to gain practical experience in the workforce right after graduating from high school. At the same time, it was important to me to pursue my studies in order to expand my knowledge.
How were your first few weeks here—what surprised or impressed you?
The first few weeks were a very pleasant surprise. I was welcomed right away by a really friendly team and felt at home from the very beginning. The positive atmosphere within the team, in particular, made me feel at ease right away. Everyone was helpful and took the time to address my questions and concerns.
What do you like most about the job or the team so far?
What I like most is the positive energy within the team. You can tell that everyone enjoys working together and supports one another. My colleagues’ willingness to help, in particular, made my transition much easier.
Why would you recommend that others do their dual degree program with us?
I would recommend a dual degree program at Crowe to others because it offers the perfect opportunity to combine theory and practice. You gain valuable professional experience early on and can apply what you’ve learned in college directly to your day-to-day work. Furthermore, Crowe is an excellent employer that works closely with various colleges and universities, thereby providing a high-quality education.
What three words best describe you?
Loyal, open, helpful.
If you were a superhero, what superpowers would you have, and why?
If I were a superhero, I’d love to have the ability to control time. In my opinion, time is the most valuable thing we have because it’s limited and you can’t get it back.
