Crowe advises VALEARA on the acquisition of IVS

Crowe BPG advised VALEARA, a leading provider of psychiatric and neurological care, on the acquisition of IVS. IVS (Institut der Gesellschaft für Verhaltenstherapeutisch fundierte Psychotherapie, Verhaltensmedizin, Systemisch fundierte Psychotherapie und Sexuologie IVS GmbH) is the largest state-approved training institute in Bavaria under the Psychotherapist Act (PsychThG).

VALEARA is a provider of outpatient mental health services. Based on an integrated platform of various care facilities, VALEARA enables patients to access comprehensive, high-quality treatment options in a timely manner. In addition, the VALEARA Academy promotes the training and further development of therapeutic specialists.

The majority stake in the VALEARA Group was recently transferred from GENUI GmbH, a private investment company based in Hamburg and Zurich, to Luxempart S.A., a listed investment company based in Luxembourg.

The Crowe BPG (crowe-bpg.de) team responsible for financial due diligence and economic contract consulting consisted of Andreas Hoffmann, WP and Partner (overall management), Martin Brinkfort (Director), and Philipp Jans (Senior Consultant).
