Transaction year 2024

Advisory

Despite the rather subdued environment in the mid cap private equity market, Crowe BPG continued to operate successfully in the transaction market in 2024. Under the leadership of Andreas Hoffmann and Dr. Philipp Kruse, the firm was involved in more than 50 transaction projects.

The financial team around Mr. Hoffmann was active both on the buyer side, primarily for financial investors (including financial due diligence and commercial negotiation of purchase agreements), and on the seller side (preparation of financial fact books).

The transaction tax area was further expanded by Dr. Philipp Kruse. Dr. Kruse and his team primarily carried out tax due diligence, structuring advice and SPA advice.

Transactions in which Crowe BPG provided support took place in a wide range of sectors, with an increasing number of add-on transactions in the healthcare market and in the IT services, EMS and ESG sectors in 2024.
Crowe BPG expects another strong transaction year in 2025.
