Crowe supports NORD Holding in the sale of the OHRWERK Group to Demant

Crowe has advised NORD Holding, a leading private equity and asset management company in Germany, on the sale of OHRWERK Group, which together with its fund Deutsche Mittelstandsholding für Indus­triebe­teiligungen II GmbH & Co. KG, which it advised, sold its shares in Demant A/S (“Demant”).

OHRWERK Group was founded in September 2020 by NORD Holding in cooperation with an experienced management team as a buy-and-build platform in the premium hearing acoustics market. Following the acquisition of the platform, the Group grew into one of the leading manufacturer-independent chain stores through a total of 17 acquisitions and several new openings and now operates 77 specialist stores throughout Germany. With its clear focus on premium care and exceptional service, OHRWERK sets new standards in the industry. The brand is known as an attractive employer and is regarded as a “good home” for hearing care professionals and sales staff.

The financial team of Crowe BPG (crowe-bpg.de), which was responsible for the preparation of the financial databook, the due diligence on the seller's side and the negotiation of the commercial purchase agreement, consisted of Andreas Hoffmann (auditor and managing director (overall management)) and Philipp Jans (senior associate, financial).
