Crowe advises management consult on majority stake in Bormann & Gordon Unternehmensberatung GmbH

management consult Dr. Eisele & Dr. Noll GmbH (management consult), a portfolio company of Rhein Invest, acquires all shares in Bormann & Gordon Unternehmensberatung (B&G), a consultancy spe­cializ­ing in market research and headquartered in Bad Homburg.

B&G's consulting team has more than 50 years of experience and expertise in POS and shopper research. The company occupies a leading position in Germany in market research in the food retail, petrol station and pharmacy sectors and advises leading clients worldwide. In future, the B&G team will support and complement the management consult team. With its third acquisition in the market research industry, Rhein Invest is adding key consulting expertise to its already successfully established business unit and taking an important strategic step in building a leading German market research group.

The team from Crowe BPG (crowe-bpg.de), which was responsible for the financial due diligence and economic advice, consisted of Andreas Hoffmann, WP and Partner (overall management), Alexander Schneider, Manager (Financial) and Henry Miller, Associate (Financial). The tax due diligence and tax advice was provided by Crowe RWT (rwt-gruppe.de) from Stuttgart. The tax team included Daniel Wernicke, RA, StB and responsible partner, and Lena Fränzel, StB.
